SPECIAL EDUCATION: SUMMER CREDIT RECOVERY



ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIAN AND STUDENTS: 

Students who fail required courses are strongly encouraged to recover these credits through summer school. Failure to meet these requirements may prevent your student from graduating with their class.  Cost for Special Education: Credit Recovery is $50 per semester. $100 for both semesters.



First Semester:

Classes meet Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 1:30pm Monday, June 8, 2026 - Thursday June 25, 2026 

Second Semester:

Classes meet Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 1:30pm Monday, June 29, 2026 - Thursday, July 16, 2026 



Location:  Alan B. Shepard High School - 13049 S. Ridgeland Avenue - Palos Heights, IL 60463



Registration:

Registration will open January 13, 2026. Preference will be given on a first come first served basis. Register early to guarantee your seat! Students and parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to consult with their student’s Guidance Counselor prior to registering for courses.



**Registration for summer school closes May 15, 2026**
